Award-winning Labor is published monthly with local labor news and labor perspectives on state and national events. Labors subscribers include over 10,000 union households in San Mateo, San Francisco, and other Bay Area counties from the Machinists, Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Transit, Theatrical, and Painters unions. Labors subscribers also include union leaders, business agents, and representatives of 150 labor unions.
Labor is a non-profit corporation controlled jointly by the San Mateo County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, and the San Mateo County Building Trades Council. Advertising must conform to policies established by the AFL-CIO and the Labor board of directors.
Labor is printed and mailed by the first of each month. Advertising space should be reserved by the 15th of the previous month. Advertisers are invited to provide camera-ready artwork, which should be received by the 20th of the month, or Labor can design ads at no extra cost. First-time advertisers are asked to pay in advance for one-time or initial ads. Future ads are invoiced after publication. Payment is due upon receipt. The discounts shown below are offered for prepaid multiple insertions.
